While we live in a democracy, the process of consensus-building and the complexities in decision-making institutions such as the European Union are not regularly experienced. In this course, we simulate an actual process and then reflect upon the implications. Thus, it is important to both experience the process and to deepen one’s understanding of the underlying issues and topics.
