After two and a half years of professional development, the participants of the Management Academy concluded their training programme with a simulation conference centred on the topic of EU expansion. The event, designed to mimic real-world diplomatic negotiations, brought together diverse perspectives in a roleplay that emphasised collaboration, compromise and strategic decision-making.

Application of Leadership Skills
The simulation conference served as a capstone project for the Academy’s programme participants and allowed them to apply the skills they have developed in a dynamic and realistic setting. Each participant assumed a role representing a different country, institution, or interest group involved in the expansion of the European Union. Through the simulation, they tackled complex issues such as economic integration, political stability, migration and transculturality.

Practising Collaboration
One of the key goals of the roleplay exercise was to help participants navigate the challenges of working with people from different cultural and professional contexts who may have different interests and to practise collaboration by finding common solutions. By immersing themselves in the perspectives of others, participants demonstrated the kind of inclusive leadership and management that is increasingly important in today’s business and globalised world.
