In an enriching educational initiative, ProCredit Academy organised an excursion to Berlin. The trip provided an ideal opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of Germany’s cultural and political landscape while fostering team spirit and shared experiences among colleagues.

Exploring the Future at the Futurium

Throughout the excursion, the participants experienced first-hand the many layers of Berlin – both past and future. At the Futurium, they explored interactive exhibits focusing on sustainability, digital innovation and the future of society. The museum’s thought-provoking installations encouraged critical thinking about how technology and human values can be used to shape tomorrow.

Walking Through History and Modern Life

The group also had the chance to gain insight into the inner workings of German democracy during a visit to the Bundestag where they toured the iconic Reichstag building.

Complementing these experiences, a guided tour through Berlin highlighted its iconic landmarks, historical neighbourhoods and contemporary urban life. This exploration brought to light the city’s resilience, creativity and complex history – from the remnants of the Berlin Wall to symbols of reunification and progress.

This excursion is part of the Academy’s training programmes and is designed to support the cultivation of responsible staff who make a positive impact on business and society.
