What is the Banker Academy?

The Banker Academy aims to foster the personal and professional development of promising and highly motivated employees who identify with us. In addition, it serves to identify ProCredit staff with strong management potential and prepare them for participation in the subsequent Management Academy programme.

Staff members are selected for participation in the Banker Academy programme based on an assessment of their performance and personal development to date by their bank or institution, their performance in preparatory exercises during orientation at the Academy, and their achievements at the English Language Centre.

The ProCredit Banker Academy is a one-year programme consisting of 15 courses divided into six blocks. It provides a structured yet adaptive learning environment that reflects the organisational, economic, political, and social challenges and changes facing the ProCredit group. Employees are expected to participate in the programme to strengthen their expertise, broaden their knowledge, cultivate their professional approach, and pave the way for advanced trainings within the group.
